benefits and bonus scheme
The Company
An award-winning consultancy known for delivering lasting and tangible
results. We think we are different to most, and the people we work with
think so too. We partner with ambitious Chief Executives and their teams
to deliver what others might regard as unreasonable improvements in
business performance. Our work is typically transformational - in terms
of top line growth, operational effectiveness and sustainable
improvements in profit. We have achieved 57% growth this past year and
are on a 35% growth trajectory in the current financial year.
Our culture is open and supportive and we encourage continuous growth in
all senses of the word. We will inspire you to imagine, stretch,
support, challenge and applaud. We are a close knit company, comprised
of exceptional people, led by strong values held close to our hearts. We
do what we say we will – when we say we will, achieving exceptional
results and growth.
The Role
Our Programme Managers lead and deliver a range of large scale
business transformation, performance improvement and cost reduction
programmes in complex and dynamic business settings. They are
confident in their knowledge and inspire confidence in the joint teams
that they lead. They are not afraid to question conventional wisdom in
their pursuit for results. Our Programme Managers have dealt with a mix
of clients in the past, usually having gained strong industry experience
before consulting. They are likely to have a sector or functional area
of expertise, but all are able to excel in any of Boxwood's sector
areas, utilising their cross-functional knowledge. These areas are:
-
Retail
-
TMT (Technology, Media
and Telecommunications)
-
CRIS (Construction,
Rail, Infrastructure, Services)
-
In all projects, we utilise existing client knowledge and
experience, and thus, our Programme Managers are able to coach, develop
and inspire individuals at all levels within the client organisation.
We are looking for:
-
individuals who are
confident in challenging clients and questioning existing practice
-
they will be motivated
by 'setbacks' and embrace challenges
-
a passionate and
action orientated approach to work
-
a perception free and
'can do' attitude
-
you will enjoy
supporting your team, and also learning from them
-
Practical Experience:
At assessment, as well as the above, you will be able to demonstrate the
following:
-
A first degree (2.1 or
stronger), preferably coupled with a postgraduate qualification in
your area of expertise, or an MBA, MSc, PhD.
-
Experience managing at
least 4 large scale delivery programmes, gained either in industry or
with a leading consultancy, where you were the primary interface with
board level stakeholders
-
A track record in
performance improvement and business transformation, on projects that
have made an undeniable difference to your client’s business
-
Strong and adaptable
communication skills
Commercial acumen and the ability to discuss financial
data confidently and spontaneously
